Add Extra Photos To Your eBay™ Listing For FREE!

To take advantage of this technique you need to have some web space that allows remote linking. I use the free webspace that came with my isp package, and this works fine for me. As most of us will have this free webspace I recommend you try out this option before looking elsewhere.

add extra photos to your ebay listing for free

You will need an FTP program to upload your pictures to the webspace. There are several freeware ones available (again, see acknowledgements for a download link), and most come with full instructions for using them. Don't be put off by this, as once you get the hang of uploading files it is a very simple process (akin to using the file manager in Windows).

I recommend that you create a new folder in your webspace – call it "ebay" or "ebaypics" or something similarly memorable. Put your eBay images into this folder and then they won’t get mixed up with any other files you may need for your website.

When you have your picture/s uploaded to your webspace, you will need to add some HTML to make the image appear in your listing. Again, don’t be put off by this as it is quite straightforward. Only one line of code will be needed and the HTML you should use will look like this:

<img src=”http://www.yourdomain.com/ebaypics/piccy.jpg”>

Replace "yourdomain.com" with the address of your website. "ebaypics" is the name of the folder you created in your webspace, and "piccy.jpg" should be changed to whatever name you called your image.
